Our Modular classes run continuously, so you can start almost any time you wish.  Your first class must be the Orientation class, which is a 1.5 hr theory lesson FOR PEOPLE ONLY (NO DOGS, please!). This class is scheduled an average of every two weeks. Once you have attended the Orientation class, you can pick and choose among the five different modules offered in the Canine Building Blocks & HeadStart Puppy Programs.  Clicker training is for all dogs, puppies and humans and best of all it's fun.  Come learn: What clicker training is? Why use a clicker? Basic Clicker Fundamentals & mechanics.  Learn the Basic foundation behaviours that can be applied to anything you want to teach your dog; Tricks or Manners & Competitive Obedience. Meet others who want to train their dogs using the positive reinforcement based Clicker Training method. Included In Your Session Mondays 6:00pm You will be given your date upon registration for classes   CANINE  Building Blocks (CBB) &/or HEADStart Puppy Continuous Modules Start Any Time   CANINE Building Blocks © Lifestyle Training Modules For Everyday Life Skills Out & About The Town      You Choose the Module that best suits your needs and goals.   The CBB Program operates on a Modular basis, offering a selection of a weeknight and a weekend class.  After you have attended the first class - Orientation, we'll help you choose your class Module.  Together throughout the session, we'll assess your progress and “sign off” on each of the behaviours as you and your dog progress through the levels and modules Your Class Start Date, is the day you attend the ORIENTATION. You will have up to 9 weeks to complete your Module. This allows for missed classes due to health (yours or your dog's) &/or vacation time. We ask that you report any absence in advance.  (This option expires after 9 weeks.) The MODULES We have collected 10 of the most basic behaviours our dogs need to learn to be confident and well mannered canine companions.  - Name Game                              - Sit - Polite (Loose Leash Walking)       - Leave It/Take It - Settle (On Your Bed)                  - Down - Targeting                                  - Boundary Respect (Don't rush the door) - Capturing & Shaping Games These behaviours have been divided into 5 different Modules to address the specific needs of each owner/dog. Each Module Covers 5 Basic Behaviours out of 10 available. If you dread sore shoulders and embarrassment when it's time to walk Fido, this class is for you. Turn your Leash MONSTER into a Leash Lassie with our short, 4-week class dedicated to Loose Leash Walking.  We put you at the control end of the leash so you and Fido can both enjoy your walks together.   $120 incl tax 4 wk session SUNDAYS 6:00 - 7:00pm CLICK TO REGISTER FOR CLASS Clicks, Tricks & Dogs   This session builds on skills learned in CBB as you move to the more advanced skills.  Plus you will add some fun and useful behaviours to your repertoire such as:  Back up, Get Dressed (head through collar) Retrieve an Item(s), Close The Door, Put The Trash Away. Dogs need to have prior Basic Obedience as this class does not teach basic control.  Here we build on foundation behaviours to maintain continued attitude and focus for the ring incorporating games . (Maximum 4 dogs) $160 incl tax 6 wk sessions Monday 6:30-7:30pm CLICK TO REGISTER FOR CLASS   Agility Foundation & Flatwork Skills   Agility is a fun sport but requires control and focus for the safety of dog and handler.  Learn the foundation skills needed to get you started in Agility or to fine tune your existing skills:  Groundwork to teach the dog how respond to body language and verbal cues, Targeting, 2x2 Weaves, Balance work. (Maximum 6 dogs) $160 incl tax 8 wks sessions CURRENTLY NOT OFFERED   Rally - O & Dog Sport Foundation Skills Rally-O goes beyond basic heeling and obedience exercises by incorporating turns, sits, jumps and heeling into a numbered course format.  It's fun, fast paced & is based upon & promotes a positive attitude between handler & canine companion. Basic exercises & how to complete a course. Basic Obedience required as this class does not teach control  (Maximum 4 dogs)  Mini Courses. $160 incl tax 6 wk sessions Mondays On-going Start Any Time 6:30 - 7:30pm   MIX - UP Novice, Open & Utility   Needing a little brush up.  Learn how to problem solve effectively and use games to create focus and excitement.  Avoid training boredom by using the variety of skills offered in novice, open and utility to spice up your training sessions.  Dogs will be working at their own level for some skills while working group heeling and proofing exercises     (Maximum 4 dogs) $180 incl. tax  8 wk sessions Mondays CLASS START PENDING CANINE FREESTYLE Basics Learn the basic foundation behaviours of Canine Freestyle.  Fun tricks and dance to music with your dog.
